We focus special offerings on world hunger each November. Our 2013 goal is to raise $10,000 to help fight hunger this month.
Lutheran World Relief is just one recipient of the offerings. LWR leads the way in stewarding resources to provide food for those in refugee camps Hey also help people in desperate situations be able to feed themselves. Just one example of their work can be seen in Bihar, India, where the average annual income is $360. LWR helps increase crop production and storage, provides rice, and gives opportunities for children to attend school.
